One of my favorite areas in Southern Utah is Bloomington Hills. Bloomington Hills is built around a very nice 18 hole golf course. Some people call the golf course the Bloomington Hills Golf Course, but it is actually the St. George Golf Club. It is a public course making it more affordable than some of the private courses in the area. Many Bloomington Hills homes offer a view of, or back up to, this first class course. The golf course offers specials and discounts at various time of the year, it is a good idea to visit their website for current specials.
The Bloomington Hills area has some of the best views of the St. George City area. Many of the homes also have views of Pine Valley Mountain, and Zions Canyon. There are also a couple of gated communities in the area. Sienna Canyon at Webb Hill is an upscale neighborhood that is built in a private canyon. Homes on the top of the community have views of the golf course. The HOA’s are about $100 per month and cover exterior building insurance and maintenance, and yard care. The other gated community is The Reserve at Webb Point. This area is still mostly undeveloped. The HOA’s are about $240 per year, and cover the gated entry way. The views from this neighborhood are fabulous.
Bloomington Hills also has some very nice parks and recreation areas. The parks include sand volley ball courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, covered picnic areas with tables, barbecue pits, paths for walking or riding a bike, and plenty of grassy areas to play football or soccer. Some of the parks are also close to the walking and bicycle paths that St. George is famous for. When you have a little time take ride through Bloomington Hills, I am sure you will agree that it is a great part of the St. George area.
