Maricel Johns

“Home is where the military sends us.” These words have never rung truer for Maricel and her family as her husband currently serves in the United States Air Force. Over the past 17 years, she and her family have relocated 13 times, including five overseas moves. Their adventures have taken them to the vibrant landscapes of Florida, Texas, Arkansas, Japan, California, Hawaii, and, now, they proudly call Nevada home. A Southern California native, Maricel pursued her education in Economics at the University of California, Irvine. Before joining ERA Brokers Consolidated, Maricel gained valuable experience in marketing and communications across diverse industries, including vacation rentals, insurance and financial services, medical, and not-for-profit. During her time in Arkansas, she served as the inaugural Director of Marketing and Communications for a statewide not-for-profit organization dedicated to changing lives through education, training, and employment. Maricel’s firsthand experience with frequent relocations and the search for new homes in various areas uniquely positions her to understand her clients’ specific challenges and needs. Furthermore, she has earned the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification, which educates REALTORS© about working with U.S. servicemembers and their families and veterans to find housing solutions that best suit their needs. She collaborates closely with her clients, taking the time to understand their individual goals, and crafting customized strategies to help them achieve success. Additionally, Maricel holds a real estate license in Hawaii, and she is a proud member of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Nevada (FACCGN). Maricel also serves as the Chief Charitable Officer with the Nellis Area Spouses Club. During her free time, Maricel enjoys traveling, hanging out at the beach and hiking with her husband, their four children, and Black Russian Terrier.
