On November 18, TMG entertainment recognized 13 recipients with Silver State awards for their achievement in the State of Nevada.  The event was hosted by Emmy award-winning actor Ian Buchanan, Chet Buchanan and Kendall Tenney.  ERA Brokers Executive Vice President Fafie Moore received the Entrepreneur of the Year award.  Other awards included Entertainer of the Year, Best Radio On-air Talent, Best News Anchor Team, and Executive of the Year.

The Silver State awards were created in 2013 and recognizes exemplary achievements by individuals and companies in the state of Nevada.  The awards are a true Peoples Choice award with over 480,000 votes cast leading up to this writing.  The results are kept secret and announced live in the on stage awards ceremony and on their official Facebook page. 

Fafie was born in Reno and has been a leader in the Las Vegas real estate community for more than 27 years.  She helped lead a transformation in the real estate industry when, along with her husband Jeff Moore, she moved to Las Vegas to open the first Realty Executives franchise in Nevada.  Fafie served in numerous leadership positions in the local and state Realtor Association and was inducted into the GLVAR (Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors) Hall of Fame.  Fafie was the 2008 Chairman of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees. 

Upon receiving the award, Fafie commented, “It is an honor to be recognized as a Silver State Award recipient alongside the other recipients.  The achievements and distinguishing careers of the individuals recognized at this event are impressive.  I’m especially grateful to those who cast their votes in support of my nomination.  I’m fortunate to be part of an impactful industry that touches every one of us.  Real estate matters to people from the smallest home to the largest estate.  Helping clients with the purchase or sale of their home is a responsibility we take very seriously.”
