Howard Cohen is a seasoned senior hospitality executive with over four decades of experience in hotel management, finance, and human resources. Throughout his distinguished career, he has built a strong reputation for driving operational excellence, optimizing financial performance, and leading successful teams across a wide range of hospitality and non-profit organizations. A proven leader in both the private and non-profit sectors, Howard has held senior positions at renowned hotel brands and hospitality companies, including Best Western, Red Lion, Hilton, and Marriott. He has a broad skill set, with expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, accounting policies, capital projects, staffing, and HR management. His leadership extends beyond operations; he is also known for developing and implementing strategies that maximize revenue, reduce costs, and enhance guest satisfaction. Howard has served as General Manager at several prestigious hotels, including the Benson Hotel in Portland and the Renaissance Seattle Hotel, and as Vice President/General Manager for Clise Properties’ Hotel Division. He has been instrumental in overseeing multiple properties, managing large teams, and implementing financial and operational strategies to increase profitability and improve operational efficiency. In addition to his hospitality career, Howard has been deeply involved in his community, serving in leadership roles in organizations like Rotary International, the Seattle Police Foundation, and the Howard J. Cohen Bladder Cancer Foundation.
