Course Objective:
Much of our assumptions around consumer behavior and client interactions rely on people making rational decisions. First, what is rational is subjective. Second, our decision making processes are highly influenced by a number of factors that may lead to decision that would be deemed irrational. With the significance of real estate decisions for home owners, investors, businesses, institutions, and public policy makers, it is important to consider how psychological biases might influence decision making processes related to real estate.
