According to Inman news, “Fannie Mae is committed to providing financing opportunities for high-credit quality, bona fide investors. Experienced investors play a key role in the housing recovery.”

Credit has been tight for investors.  Large down payments (20%) and higher interest rates have held some investors back from taking advantage of the excellent buys in today’s real estate market.  We need the investors back in the market to help move through the current surplus of inventory.

With the Housing Recovery Act passed by President Barack Obama there are several investors who are now cheering as they are now able to make more moves and decisions. The more that investors can do in the real estate market the more the market will continue to get better.
